Earthquake in Afghanistan and Pakistan

On Monday 26th October an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 occurred in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan (see map). According to the BBC, “at least 300 people are known to have died, and about 2,000 were injured” across Afghanistan and Pakistan (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-34644125 – last checked 08:15 am, 27 October 2015).
